How the Commission Process Works

We begin with a thoughtful conversation about your space, inspiration, and preferences. Kristin welcomes your ideas while offering guidance to shape a powerful artistic direction.
2. Concept Studies & Visualization
A photo of your space is used to create digital mockups using Photoshop—personally prepared by Kristin—so you can envision exactly how the finished work will look in your environment.
3. Pricing & Budgeting
Commission pricing is based on:
Canvas size
Composition complexity
Medium
Time required for completion
Additional costs may include shipping, framing, or post-approval changes. You're encouraged to be open about your budget—transparency helps shape the right plan for your piece.
4. Timeline & Scheduling
Typical completion time is discussed at the outset
If your commission is for a special occasion, just let us know the date
Please allow flexibility—some pieces require more creative time than others
5. Ongoing Communication
You’ll receive updates and in-progress photos during key stages. Kristin welcomes feedback and incorporates your thoughts with care and clarity.
Contract & Payment Terms
Before painting begins, a simple agreement outlines all details.
Deposit: 60% required to begin
Final Payment: Due prior to shipping or delivery
Accepted Payments: Zelle, bank transfer, cashier’s check, personal check, or cash
Sales Tax: California sales tax applies to all shipments from CA. If you're a business, a valid Tax ID can be submitted for exemption.
